Isle Of Wight Festival: Friday Highlights And Schedule

The Isle of Wight Festival is underway, with the first revellers now safely tucked up inside Seaclose Park!

The Main Stage action gets underway today from 4pm with four-piece indie rockers "The Clause".

Highlights include 90s/noughties icons Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Sugababes.

Meanwhile, Pulp headline the evening, with Jarvis Cocker and co having voyaged over via Wightlink's Fast Cat service on Wednesday night.

  • 4pm — The Clause
  • 4.40pm — Sophie Ellis-Bextor
  • 6pm — Sugababes
  • 7.20pm — OneRepublic
  • 8.40pm — Courteeners
  • 10.20pm — Pulp

Plastic Mermaids will make their Big Top debut at 6.40pm and are expected to provide a memorable show for their home crowd.

The Human League will close the stage tonight, with the 1980s icons likely to provide one of tonight's highlights.

On other stages...

A clash of notable undercard acts will see Jay Eatwell on the Cirque de la Quirk stage at 4pm at the same time as Platform One's showcase in Electro Love — both highly recommended, so toss a coin and go for whichever wins!
