Keyless Cars Theft - Three Arrested In Littlehampton

Three people have been arrested in connection with an investigation into the theft of high-value vehicles in Littlehampton.

Three addresses were searched last Monday (Dec 20) following the theft of more than 20 Range Rovers and Land Rovers over the past 18 months. 

The keyless thefts happened mainly in Arun and Worthing and police suspected they had been carried out by the same suspects.

The following arrests were made on Monday 20 December:

A 36-year-old man from Littlehampton was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to steal motor vehicles and theft of a motor vehicle. He has been released on conditional bail until 10 January.

A 31-year-old man from Littlehampton was further arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to steal motor vehicles and eight counts of theft of a motor vehicle. He has been released on conditional bail until 18 January.

A 34-year-old woman from Littlehampton was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to steal motor vehicles, four counts of theft of a motor vehicle. She has been released under investigation.

All three have been released pending investigation.
