Last Chance to Follow That Duck

Follow that Duck may have disappeared from the streets of Sussex but they will be back for one last farewell

The art trail of rubber ducks which have decorated the streets of Hastings, St Leonards on Sea and Bexhill this summer will be celebrated with an exhibition.

The 'Follow that duck' trail featured 51 rubber duck sculptures stretching across three Sussex towns this summer.

This art trail brought colour, creativity and conversation to the area for ten weeks.

The sculptures did unfortunately have to duck out of the limelight on Monday September 5.

However there is still one opportunity to see all the sculptures together this weekend, they will all be on the bill in a mass exhibition for a final farewell weekend.

St Michael's Hospice will be unveiling two special rubber duckling sculptures which have remained unseen.

The event will run from 10am-5pm on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 of September.

In October the ducks and ducklings will be migrating home to the schools and community groups who created them.

The large rubber ducks and two special ducklings will appear at the Hook a Duck Auction on Friday October 7, raising money for the hospice.

The auction will be led by Kevin Wall at Rye Auction Galleries Ltd.
