Man And Woman Sought After Chichester Burglary

A man and a woman are being sought by police after a sound system was stolen in Chichester earlier this month (October).

Officers said the speaker and microphone, worth around £500, were taken from The Newell Centre in Tozer Way between 8pm on October 13, and 7.30am the following day.

A man and a woman were seen acting suspiciously after entering the centre, at around 7pm on October 12.

The man is described as 5’4”, mid-late 30s, skinny, with a gaunt face and unshaven, wearing a denim baseball cap, a black zipped bomber jacket, a red-and-white scarf and skinny fit blue jeans.

The woman is described as 5’4”, mid-late 30s, with blonde mousey hair in a ponytail, a rounded face with of a slight tan, and wearing a leopard print face mask with a blue denim jacket, white T-shirt and skinny fit blue denim jeans.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a man and woman matching this description around that time, or indeed anyone seen acting suspiciously around the time of the burglary.

Specifically, officers would like to establish the identity of the woman wearing the face mask, who was accompanying the man.

Anyone with any information is asked to report it online or call 101, quoting serial 174 of 14/10.
