Police have arrested a man in connection with the death of a motorcyclist following a collision with a tractor on the A29 at Bury. Officers said both vehicles were travelling southbound towards the Whiteways Lodge roundabout on Monday afternoon (February, 3) when the collision took place. The male motorcyclist died at the scene, according to police. A 38-year-old man from Chichester was later detained on suspicion of causing death by careless driving, and was released under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting Operation Dunham.
