A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a terrorism offence at Gatwick Airport this morning (Monday).
Police said the man was detained on suspicion of 'possession of material likely to be useful to a terrorist', at around 4am.
The suspect had just arrived on a flight from Turkey, according to the Met's Counter Terrorism Command.
He was taken into custody at a central London police station while officers searched an address in north London.
