A 52-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman in Hove this morning (Saturday, 18). Police responded to reports that a woman had fallen to the ground from the 7th floor of Clarendon House, Clarendon Road, just before 6.00am. The woman, believed to be in her thirties, was confirmed dead at the scene. Officers said the man and woman were known to each other, and the IOPC (Independent Office for Police Conduct) was notified in view of their recent contact with the authorities. Officials said the investigation is at an early stage.
