Man arrested following collision between two jet skis near Shoreham Harbour

Police have arrested a man on suspicion of committing grievous bodily harm following a collision between two jet skis in open water at Shoreham Harbour. Emergency services, including Sussex Police and SECAmb, responded to the incident, which took place just outside the entrance to the harbour on Sunday afternoon (August, 25). Officers said they spoke to several witnesses and seized the jet skis involved. A 19-year-old man from London was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton where he was treated for his injuries. Police said he remains under observation at this time. The man arrested, a 24-year-old from London, was released under investigation pending further enquiries. The Marine Accident Investigation Branch was informed of the incident, according to police.
