
There's an investigation after a man in Hastings suffered a serious assault in the town centre.
He was found by officers in Robertson Street in the early hours of yesterday morning (Dec 22) - he'd been knocked unconscious and was lying in the street.
The 31-year-old victim had suffered serious head injuries and was taken to the Conquest Hospital, where he remains at this time.
Three men aged 30, 41 and 58 were arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. They currently remain in police custody.
Officers investigating the assault are appealing for anyone who saw what happened to come forward.
