Police have charged a man in connection with an incident outside a Wetherspoons pub in Worthing at the weekend. Officers said they were called to a report of a man shouting and swearing and running in front of vehicles outside The Three Fishes pub in Chapel Road at about 6.20pm on Sunday (November, 17). Police said when they arrived, the man had gone into the pub and allegedly got into an argument with a customer. Derek Cook, 53, of Chester Avenue in the town, has since been charged with using threatening words and behaviour and committing assault. Mr Cook is due to appear before Worthing Magistrates' Court on December 17.
