Man charged with cycling offences following incident at Brighton Asda

A young man is due to appear in court later this month charged with multiple offences, including dangerous cycling, following an incident at Asda in Brighton Marina earlier this year. Keith Mujuru, 19, of Law Street, Southwark, was arrested in Surrey early yesterday morning (Wednesday, 9) following the incident in June. Police said he was later charged with dangerous cycling, using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and arrest by a constable as unlikely to surrender to custody - breach of bail conditions. Mr Mujuru is due to appear at Crawley Magistrates' Court on October 23, and has been bailed with conditions not to enter Brighton and Hove, according to officers. A 13-year-old boy, arrested in connection with the same incident, is currently on release under investigation. Police said he has been referred to Youth Offender Services.
