A man has been charged with drug dealing offences in Brighton after a police county lines investigation.
A warrant was executed at an address in Orpington, South East London, targeting individuals suspected of running County Lines from London across the South East.
Ruben Codling, 36, of Petten Grove, Orpington, was arrested on suspicion of drug offences during the warrant.
A search of the premises was carried out and an estimated £30,000 cash was found in a safe, along with 57 grams of crack cocaine with an estimated street value of £5,700 and 45 grams of cannabis with an estimated street value of £450.
Codling was charged with being concerned in the making of an offer to supply class A drugs, possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A, possession of a Class B drug and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.
He appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 22 April and was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on 22 May 2021.
No further arrests were made but officers seized further items believed to support this investigation.
