A 37-year-old man, who's been recovering in hospital, is to appear in court today (Monday, 27) after two women were found dead outside a house on Crawley Down last month. Officers arrested Daniel Appleton, of Hazel Way, on suspicion of murder after he was found seriously injured inside the property in Hazel Way on December 22. Mr Appleton was charged with two counts of murder after his release from hospital on Friday (January, 24). It follows the discovery of two bodies outside the property, belonging to Sandy Seagrave, 76, of Kiln Road, and Amy Appleton, 32, of Hazel Way. Mr Appleton will face the charges at Crawley Magistrates’ Court.
