The passenger of a vehicle involved in two road collisions in Horsham yesterday (Thursday, 12) has died. The 54-year-old man, from Pulborough, was in a blue Nissan Almera which collided with a van in Redkiln Way at 11.40am, before making off from the scene. Police said around five minutes later the same vehicle then collided with a black Audi in nearby Forest Road. The male passenger in the Nissan died at the scene. Officers said the driver - a 57-year-old man from Pulborough - was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, where he is being treated for serious injuries. The van driver - a 53-year-old man from Southwater - was taken to East Surrey Hospital in Redhill with serious injuries, while the occupants of the Audi reported minor injuries.
