Man in wheelchair robbed at knifepoint in his Sussex home

A wheelchair-bound man has been robbed at knifepoint in his home in Brighton, by a woman who pretended to be leaving a parcel for his neighbour. The victim was at his home in Whitehawk Road when the woman entered his flat after he agreed to take the parcel, around 6pm on Bank Holiday Monday (August, 26). Police said the man was threatened by the woman with a knife, who demanded he handed over any money. She then left the premises with around £600 in cash. The woman has been described as around 30, white, 5'5" tall, of a slim build, with dark shoulder-length hair and wearing a knee-length black dress with a white pattern. Anyone with information is asked to report it online, or call 101, quoting reference number 1101 of 26/08.
