Man Knocked Unconscious In Hastings Street In Unprovoked Attack

Police are appealing for witnesses to an unprovoked assault in Hastings town centre.

On Thursday, July 21, police were informed that a man had been taken to hospital with serious facial injuries following an attack outside Yates in Robertson Street by a person not known to the victim.

It had happened sometime on the night of Friday 8 July or early hours of the morning on Saturday 9 July.

Ir's believed the man may have been helped by a member of security staff.

Officers investigating the assault are keen to speak to this person, and anyone else who may have witnessed the assault.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 1021 of 19/07. Alternatively, information can be passed to police anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
