Man pinned between two vehicles in Horsham left with 'potentially life-changing injuries'

A 27-year-old man has been left with potentially life-changing injuries after a collision in Horsham on Tuesday (May, 26).

Police said the incident involved a blue Mitsubishi Shogun in Canberra Road, at around 7am.

The pedestrian became trapped between the 4x4 and another vehicle, leaving them with a broken arm and a fractured pelvis.

He was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for surgery.

The road was closed for a time while officers were at the scene.

Anyone who saw what happened, specifically anyone with dash cam, CCTV or mobile phone footage which may have captured the incident – or anyone who saw a blue Mitsubishi Shogun being driven in the area shortly beforehand, is urged to contact the police, quoting serial 265 of 26/05.
