A man is seriously ill in hospital after being attacked and robbed in Bexhill. The 38-year-old victim, who is a member of the street community, had collected a prescription from a local pharmacy when he was allegedly approached by three other men in Devonshire Square last Friday (August 9). Police said when he refused to hand over the tablets he was punched unconscious, and has then medication stolen from him. The victim was taken to hospital on Sunday (August, 11), where he was found to have injuries to his face and head. Officers want to hear from anyone who saw what happened or who may have CCTV of the incident which happened between around 2.15pm and 3.15pm.
