Police are investigating a stabbing in Brighton, during which a 22-year-old man was seriously injured in the early hours of this morning (October 9).
It happened at around 3.50am (Monday, October 9) in Trafalgar Street near Brighton Station.
Police have been carrying out extensive searches in the area and the public can expect to see a heightened police presence while enquiries continue.

It's the second such incident in five days, following the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Mustafa Momand last Thursday, October 5, on Queens Road, which connects to Trafalgar Street at Brighton Station.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
