Police are investigating an incident where a man was stabbed several times in the body, before being run over by a car in a Brighton street. The 31-year-old victim, who is local, was in Norwich Drive, Bevendean, when the incident took place. Officers said he was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment, but was later discharged on the same day. DS Sebastian Day said: "The victim is very fortunate that his injuries were not more serious. "We are keen to speak to anybody who witnessed or heard the incident or who has any information relating to it."
