Purse Stolen From Charity Shop Worker In Bexhill

Police in Bexhill are looking to interview this man after a purse belonging to a charity shop worker was stolen as she worked on the shop floor.

It happened between 1.30pm and 2.30pm on Friday 11 February.

The suspect entered the shop in St Leonards Road, Bexhill, pretending to be a customer, distracted a staff member and then entered the staff room taking the purse and walking off.

He used the credit cards in nearby shops.

Police want to speak to a man described as white, about 6', wearing a black baseball style cap, a black scarf/face covering, a large dark coat, and carrying an M&S cloth-style bag.

Officers are hopeful that local people will be able to help identify this man. If you can help, please get in touch either online or by calling 101, quoting serial 727 of 11/02.
