A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing in Eastbourne last night (Tuesday).
It's after police responded to a report of a stabbing in Firle Road, at around 9.26pm.
According to officers, the area remained secured for forensics investigations this morning (Wednesday).
A 21-year-old man from Bexhill was detained on suspicion of attempted murder and remained in custody at 9am on Wednesday.
Of the victims, a 37-year-old local man remains in hospital this morning in a stable condition and a 33-year-old local man has since been discharged.
This was an isolated incident and police are not seeking anyone else in connection with it at this time.
