An arrest has been made in connection with a suspected knife attack in Brighton yesterday (Monday, 25). Police said they were called to reports of an assault in Ditchling Road at around 4.30pm. There were reports of patrol cars and a corden at The Level park.

The victim was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital with a minor hand injury, which police think was caused by a small blade.
A 24-year-old man was detained on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, and released under investigation.
