Man Threatened By Machete While In Hastings Taxi

A man sitting in a taxi in Hastings has been threatened by two men on a moped who attempted to rob him by waving a machete through the window and demanding his property.

The victim, in his 20s, suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital, where the incident was then reported to police.

It happened on Wednesday, September 20 around 6.20pm on Malvern Way.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
