Man Wanted For Shoplifting And Assaulting A Shop Worker In Chichester

Police are hoping to identify a man in relation to a theft and assault in Chichester.

 

The suspect entered Co-op in Stockbridge Road on Sunday, July 9 and filled his basket full of items before leaving without paying.

He returned a short while later, attempted to steal further items and assaulted a member of staff when he tried to leave the store.

Police believe the man in this image may be able to help with their enquiries.

He is described as a white man, approximately 25 years old with light coloured short hair.

At the time of the offence, he was wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts. He was also wearing black and white Adidas sliders.

Witnesses or anyone with information which could help should come forward by reporting online or calling 101 and quoting serial 1273 of 09/07.
