An image has been released of a man wanted by police following a series of burglaries in Hove. Police said nine residential burglaries have been reported within a small area around Hangleton Library, West Way, since January 2. Officers said 33-year-old Robert Cox was thought to have a female accomplice, who may have had her small terrier dog with her while acting as a 'look out' during the alleged offences. A 30-year-old woman from the area was arrested on suspicion of being connected with the incidents but was later released on bail. Police said Cox is sometimes known as Robert Cooper and also has links to Littlehampton. Anyone with information is asked to contact 101, quoting serial 1374 of 16/01.
