Man's body found in the River Ouse in Lewes

The body of a man was discovered in the River Ouse in Lewes on Friday (January, 3) evening. A police helicopter was seen flying above the town conducting a search of the area. Officers said it is not connected to the search for missing Anthony Knott. The body found in the water near the Tesco store belonged to a 67-year-old man who had been reported missing. Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious and the coroner has been informed.
