Brighton and Hove Albion will look to arrest their Premier League slide when title-chasing Liverpool arrive at the Amex for a 3pm kick-off this Saturday.

The Seagulls showed signs of life despite being vanquished 2-1 by Newcastle last weekend — a fourth successive defeat.

Brighton have struggled on home turf this season, with a lack of firepower undermining a generally solid — albeit recently depleted — defence.

Liverpool won a hard fought contest against West Ham 1-0 at the weekend, with a goal from Sadio Mane the difference between the teams.

The Reds possess all three of the Premier League's top goal scorers so far this campaign: Mane, Diogo Jota and the irrepressible Mo Salah, who has an astonishing 19 goals and 10 assists in the top-flight.
