The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for icy patches on roads and footpaths today.
Rain yesterday evening in some parts of Sussex has meant the likelihood of ice patches this morning - especially in West Sussex.
The Met Office is asking people to be wary of ice on some untreated roads, footpaths and cycle paths.
Temperatures are starting at zero degrees this morning and rising with highs of 4 degrees by the early afternoon, but it'll feel more like zero degrees for most of the day.
Over in Petworth snow fell last night and Sussex Roads Police are warning people to make sure their windscreens are clear of frost and snow before they set off on the roads.
Despite freezing temperatures today, the mercury is set to rise tomorrow with highs of 11 degrees and lows of eight tomorrow, and there's a similar picture throughout the week, with Thursday being the coldest day with highs of five degrees.
