More Radio Live! returns to Worthing's Steyne Gardens today

More Radio Live! returns to Worthing today (Saturday, 17) with an evening of live music planned. The annual event, which has been held in the town's Steyne Gardens since 2002, is set to feature a number of tribute artists later, including Bruno Mars (performed by Bran Mazz), Whitney Houston (performed by Nya King), and local 80s synth band Synthony 101. This year's event is being headlined by Pink tribute Vicky Jackson, who has been speaking to More Radio about her experience portraying the singer. [caption id="attachment_13278514" align="alignnone" width="1000"] Vicky Jackson made a brief appearance as Pink last year.[/caption] Vicky, who will be performing with a live band later, said: "We're always really excited to bring that live gig/concert feel to our tribute shows, just to elevate it even more. "It's been a very constant, fantastical journey.  "It feels like it's been a year or two I've been doing this, but it hasn't, it's been well over a decade." More Radio's operations director, David Cunningham, said: "We are really excited by this year's line-up. "Vicky Jackson made a brief appearance with us last year, and we were so amazed by her we thought Sussex deserved a full performance from her with her live band. "We are delighted by the ticket sales this year, and there will be just a handful left at the gate." More Radio Live! kicks off in Steyne Gardens from 5pm. Tickets for the event are still available to collect at the gate. More information and details on each of the artists performing can be found here.
