A motorcyclist aged 57 was killed in a collision with a car on the A259 Bognor bypass on Saturday night.

The crash happened at around 10pm on July 17th, and was between a Honda motorcycle and a Ford Tourneo carrying five people.

Police said the rider, who was from Basingstoke, died at the scene — his next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the car — a 69-year-old man — and the passengers, who were a 32-year-old woman and three children, suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers have launched an appeal to find any witnesses, or motorists with relevant dash-cam footage.

Anyone with information that may assist with enquiries is urged to report online or call 101, quoting Operation Ample.
