A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a tractor this afternoon (Monday, 3) on the A29 at Bury. Police said a section of the road is likely to remain closed for some time following around 1.40pm near the Whiteways Lodge roundabout. According to officers, the motorcycle and tractor were both travelling southbound when it happened. The male motorcyclist was confirmed dead at the scene, police said. No other injuries have been reported at this time, while motorists are advised to seek alternative routes.
