A motorcyclist has died following a crash on the A21 at Sedlescombe yesterday evening (Wednesday, 18). Emergency services were called to the scene just south of the junction with Marley Lane after the crash took place just before 6pm. Police said a motorcycle travelling south hit a Seat Altea car which was parked in a layby. The motorcyclist - a 66-year-old man from Hastings - died at the scene. Police said the car driver - a 46-year-old woman from Etchingham - was taken to the Conquest Hospital with minor injuries.
