Motorcyclist in intensive care following collision with van in Ditchling

A motorcyclist, who was airlifted to hospital following a collision with a van in Ditchling, remains in intensive care, according to police. The 61-year-old man, from Littlehampton, was riding a Harley Davidson which collided with a white Citroen Relay van in Folders Lane East, around 3.10pm yesterday (Tuesday, 27). Police said he was taken by air ambulance to St George's Hospital in Tooting with serious injuries. Officers said he remains in a stable condition in intensive care. The van driver, a 56-year-old man from Horsham, was uninjured. Anyone who saw what happened, or who captured the incident on dash cam, is asked to email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk, quoting Operation Beethoven.
