Motorcyclist in 'serious' condition following collision at Robertsbridge

A motorcyclist has been left seriously injured following a collision with a car on the A21 at Robertsbridge on Friday (October, 18). Emergency services were called to the Battle Road junction with George Hill around 6.30am following the incident involving a white Triumph Tiger motorcycle and a black Mini Cooper. Police said the motorcyclist, a 38-year-old man from Hastings, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, where he is in a serious but stable condition. The car driver, a 48-year-old man Robertsbridge, was treated for shock and minor injuries, according to officers. Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting reference number 275 of 18/10.
