Motorcyclist Seriously Injured After Ringmer Collision

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured after colliding with a car in Ringmer this morning (Thursday 7).

Police said it's after a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the A26, shortly before 7am.

It happened near the junction with Ham Lane, between Lewes and Clayhill.

The road was closed while the incident was dealt with by emergency services, reopening at around 8.20am.

Anyone who saw what happened is urged to contact 101, quoting serial 168 of 07/01.
