A motorcyclist has been left seriously injured following a collision with a car in Hassocks yesterday afternoon (Sunday, 17). Police said the black motorcycle collided with a black Nissan Qashqai on the A273, outside Garden Sage Nurseries, at 1.40pm. According to the force, the 41-year-old motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where police said he remains in a serious but stable condition. The driver of the car - a 67-year-old man - was not injured, according to officers. Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting reference number 662 of 17/05.
