Murder suspect released in connection with the death of a woman who fell from Hove flats

A man arrested on suspicion of murder, following the death of a woman who fell from a block of flats in Hove, has been released. Investigations continue into the death of 33-year-old Nicola Redman, of Monument View, Brighton, who was pronounced dead at the scene in Clarendon Road just before 6.00am on Saturday (January, 18). Officers said the 52 year old is on bail until February 13, following the incident at Clarendon House. DCI Mark Chapman said: "We appreciate the understanding and co-operation of local residents and Nicola's family as we continue to work to establish the full circumstances of this tragic death." Police say the two were known to each other, and the incident was also notified to the IOPC (Independent Office for Police Conduct) for their consideration in view of recent police contact with the pair.
