Network Rail: No Service Between East Croydon & London Victoria This Weekend

Network Rail has warned passengers there will be no service between East Croydon and London Victoria this weekend with southern trains diverted to London Bridge.

The disruption will run from Saturday, November 27th until Sunday, November 28th.

Passengers who need to get to Clapham Junction will find a limited replacement bus service from East Croydon.

Trains from East Croydon to London Victoria will run to an amended timetable.

Closures are due to Network Rail updating 1980s track and signalling on lines to London Victoria.

  • Saturday 8 to Sunday 9 January
  • Saturday 29 to Sunday 30 January
  • Saturday 26 to Sunday 27 March
  • Saturday 9 to Sunday 10 April
  • Friday 15 to Monday 18 April (Easter Bank Holiday)
  • Sunday 1 to Monday 2 May (May Bank Holiday)
  • Saturday 21 to Sunday 22 May
  • Saturday 16 to Sunday 17 July
  • Sunday 25 December 2022 to Monday 2 January 2023

How will this affect my journey?

Most trains will be diverted to London Bridge, and limited rail replacement bus services will run between East Croydon or Balham and Clapham Junction for local journeys. 

To help you with your journey, tickets will be accepted on the following routes

  • South Western Railway between Clapham Junction / Vauxhall and London Waterloo
  • London Buses between:
    • London Victoria and Clapham Junction
    • Balham and Streatham Hill
  • Tube services between:
    • London Victoria and Balham / Clapham Junction / Vauxhall / London Bridge / Euston
    • London Bridge and Canada Water
  • London Overground between Canada Water and Clapham Junction / Crystal Palace / West Croydon and between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction via Willesden Junction
  • London Northwestern Railway between London Euston and Watford Junction / Milton Keynes Central
