New Haywards Heath Pan-Asian Restaurant To Give Away 1,000 Meals

The new Banana Tree restaurant, due to open early June, will give away 1,000 free curries to celebrate its opening.

It'll be the Big Table Group's first Banana Tree restaurant in West Sussex.

The company behind Las Iguanas and Bella Italia, says they hand pick the best dishes from Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia to feature on its menu, from soups and salads, to wok-tossed noodles, stir fries, curries and claims to be 'the best Katsu in town'.

To mark the opening, Banana Tree is giving away 1,000 free Panko Crispy Katsu Curries from June 5, which will require filling in a form on their website.

Behind the scenes, the team say they are constantly developing plant-based meat alternatives and testing out recipes, so that today, more than 40% of Banana Tree’s menu is plant-based.

The brand-new restaurant, located on the site of the former Rouge on The Broadway, features a secret private dining room on the first floor and 2-4-1 cocktails and mocktails all day, every day.

The opening will create 10 new jobs.

Anne Chow, Managing Director at Banana Tree, said:

“It’s really exciting to be bringing the flavours of Banana Tree to a new community. Whether you want to tuck into a Pan-Asian feast, or enjoy 2-4-1 cocktails with friends or just enjoy some light bites, we’ve got something for everyone, and we can’t wait for Haywards Heath to try it for themselves!”

Founded 30 years ago in Maida Vale, West London, Banana Tree has since grown to eleven restaurants across London and the South East. In addition to, the company recently opened new sites in Covent Garden and at the O2 Arena in London.
