New Year Honours 2021: Royal Navy Nurse And University Professor Among Sussex Names

Dozens of recipients of New Year Honours have been recognised for their work during the coronavirus pandemic.

Those listed include people who have battled to save lives, keep the NHS afloat and community heroes.

Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton has been given a knighthood as the joint most successful F1 driver of all time, as well as a prominent anti-racism campaigner.

Craig David is also among famous faces who have been recognised, he's been given an MBE.
