People in Sussex who benefit from NHS community services can now nominate a member of staff for an award.
Nearly seven thousand staff, working for the Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust, help more than 10,000 people in Sussex every day.
As a way of saying thank you and to acknowledge their care and compassion for their local community, SCFT has launched the 2021 People's Choice Awards, where members of the public can nominate a staff member who has gone above and beyond for them or someone they know.
Siobhan Melia, Chief Executive of Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust, said:
"We have nearly 7,000 members of staff working for our Trust - including the large scale COVID-19 vaccination centres we are running - and we know they touch the lives of so many people every single day.
"I'm delighted we are able to go out to our patients and communities and offer people the chance to recognise an SCFT member of staff as part of our annual awards process.
"You can nominate anyone who works for us who has helped to brighten up your day or gone above and beyond to get you the best care."
