A cyclist has died after colliding with a bus and an unidentified car in Hailsham last night (Thursday, 30). Emergency services were called to the collision on the junction of London Road and Grovelands Road at around 7pm. The 51-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said an unidentified vehicle is reported to have made off from the scene and officers are keen to trace the driver or occupants of the car involved. A section of the road was closed until around 6.30am this morning (Friday, 31). Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting Operation Hopwood.
