One rescued from Hove hotel fire

One person's been rescued from a fire at a hotel in Hove. Six fire engines were called to the Chatsworth Hotel in Salisbury Road in Hove, on Saturday (7 December) at 12.22pm, after a fire broke out on the top floor, which was stopped from spreading by the crews using breathing apparatus and hose reel. As of 1.30pm, East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service had scaled back the incident, with firefighters cutting back and damping down the scene to ensure the fire was properly out. Sussex Police also attended the scene, closing Salisbury Road and the person rescued, was left in the care of paramedics.
