In Hastings, the Priory Meadows Shopping Centre had to be evacuated on Saturday (October 28) due to flooding. It's the third serious flood in a year.
Southern Water said the drainage system had been overwhelmed by a high tide and torrential rain.
Meanwhile South Terrace in Hastings, between Queens Road and Devonshire Road, remains closed as is Lullington Road, from Alfriston Road to Back Lane.
A yellow weather warning will stay in place for disruption across the South East.
UPDATE:
Photos received this morning show an electrical sub station, supplying 30,000 homes in Bognor, surrounded by flood water.
