Shoreham Football Club has experienced extensive damage to its clubhouse and main stand following strong winds brought by Storm Eunice last Friday.

The club has uploaded pictures of the damage onto its website, thanking parents and committee members for helping to clear up after the damage.

According to the club, there was also damage to pitch-side hoardings, youth goals, ground barriers and fencing.

"The emergency plan is to repair the roof and patio fencing, the main stand will have to wait for now.

"As this incident was not planned for, we are having to raise emergency funds for the repairs. We need to get back into operation as quickly as possible so can get matches back on and ensure all our teams can carry on. So please help our fund raising now!"

The club has set up a JustGiving page for anyone who would like to donate to help pay for repairs to the roof, after a tree fell on it, causing it extensive damage. They're looking for just £1,200 for repairs.
