PM Boris Johnson Self-Isolating After Coming Into Contact With Coronavirus Case

Prime Minister Boris Johnson is self-isolating after coming into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to reports, the PM was contacted by NHS Test and Trace.

The prime minister's spokesman told Sky News he will "follow the rules and is self-isolating" in Downing Street where he will continue to work.

His spokesperson said:

"The PM is well and does not have any symptoms of COVID-19."

Mr Johnson has already had the virus, having been diagnosed on March 27.

He was admitted to St Thomas' Hospital in London on April 5, after reporting "persistent" symptoms of COVID-19.

The PM made a full recovery and returned to work later that month.
