Poaching is likely to be on the increase in Sussex's rural areas.
That's according to Sussex Police, who also reported yesterday (October 4) they normally see more illegal hare-coursing at this time of year.
Officers believe a "sharp rise" in these types of offences is connected to the end of the corn harvest.
They added that anyone who sees poaching or hare coursing going on is witnessing a crime, and should use the 999 emergency system to make a report.
