Poaching And Hare Coursing Warning For Sussex

Poaching is likely to be on the increase in Sussex's rural areas.

That's according to Sussex Police, who also reported yesterday (October 4) they normally see more illegal hare-coursing at this time of year.

Officers believe a "sharp rise" in these types of offences is connected to the end of the corn harvest.

They added that anyone who sees poaching or hare coursing going on is witnessing a crime, and should use the 999 emergency system to make a report.
