Police looking for woman who was reportedly chased in Chichester

Police are looking for a woman who appeared to have been chased by a man across a road in Chichester. Officers said they received a report of a woman getting out of a stationary car and running across Stockbridge Road, near to the junction with Terminus Road, at 5.50pm last Friday (January, 24). According to the force, it appeared as if she was being chased by a man, who had also been in the car. The woman was described as black, aged 17 to 18, approximately 5'2" tall, of a slim build and with slightly curly black hair tied up on the top of her head. Police said she is said to have been heading towards the canal. Anyone who witnessed the woman, or has information, is asked to call 101, quoting reference number 1098 of 24/01.
