Brighton Police have named Kamil Kaminsky, who's wanted for interview in connection with allegations of a city-centre attack that left a victim with a broken eye-socket.
The injured man, who is 39, was in the Co-Op in St. James's Street at the time of the assault on July 9.
Kamil Kaminsky is also wanted for failing to appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court on July 17, to face charges of stealing a motor scooter, driving with no insurance or licence, failing to stop for police, and not complying with traffic signals.
All the motoring offences are alleged to have taken place in April this year, and also in Brighton.
Kaminski is described as 5'5", of medium build with brown hair.
Detective Constable James Botting said:
"If you see Kaminski or know where he is, do not approach him but call us on 999 quoting serial 1354 of 09/07."
Reports are also possible, anonymously, via the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
